Speedtech Energy Co., Ltd., headquartered in Taoyuan, Taiwan, is a socially conscious clean energy manufacturer specializing in solar power systems, LED energy-saving solutions, and off-grid renewable energy products. With extensive experience deploying solar street lamps, solar water pumps, and solar home systems across Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific, Speedtech Energy is a trusted partner in bringing sustainable energy to emerging economies. The company played a critical role in disaster relief following the 2015 Nepal earthquake. Speedtech’s PV modules carry a 25-year warranty and meet IEC61215, IEC61730, and UL1703 international certifications. Their manufacturing capabilities and global distribution network make them the ideal partner for bringing the Magnetic Generator to scale.
The Magnetic Generator: A Game-Changer for Off-Grid Communities
Dr. Moya’s Magnetic Generator (MagGennie) represents a paradigm shift in alternative power generation. Utilizing permanent magnets and magnetic axial flywheels, the MagGen produces clean, reliable electricity without the need for fuel, grid connections, or complex infrastructure. Unlike solar or wind, which depend on weather conditions, the MagGen operates continuously, providing consistent baseload power to homes, schools, health clinics, and small enterprises in areas that traditional grids cannot reach.
Through this partnership, Speedtech Energy’s advanced manufacturing and miniaturization capabilities will be combined with Fluidyne’s patented technology and 4G Biotech’s international market reach to produce compact, affordable, and mass-producible Magnetic Generator units — designed specifically for deployment in remote island communities, rural villages, and disaster-affected areas.
A Legacy of Innovation and Humanitarian Service
Filipino-Canadian inventor Dr. Moya has spent over 40 years developing innovations that serve the world’s most vulnerable communities. From launching “Nano-Toilets” to combat cholera in Africa, to engineering solutions for the Legionnaire’s Disease outbreak in New York, to developing wastewater testing protocols during COVID-19, Dr. Moya has consistently brought his inventions where they are needed most. His volunteer missions with UNDP, CESO (now Catalyste+), and Oxfam have taken him from Filipino villages to South African townships, always carrying innovations in biogas, water treatment, and solar power. During Typhoon Ondoy in 2009, he coordinated the donation of two full containers of assorted medicines to devastated Filipino communities — a testament to a life dedicated to service.
The PCCC Connection: Where It All Began
The Philippine Canadian Chamber of Commerce (PCCC) proudly congratulates all three partners on this historic agreement. The merger of Fluidyne International and 4G Biotech was a direct result of the fruitful PCCC Philippine Delegation held in Manila in October 2025, led by Ms. Cora dela Cruz (Chairman) and Mr. Steve Pagao (President), along with the rest of the Filipino-Canadian business delegation. During that trade mission, Dr. Moya displayed several of his inventions, including the Magnetic Generator and water desalination technology, captivating the delegation with their potential for real-world impact.
The second and decisive intervention came in January 2026, when Julian Baricuatro (PCCC VP-Innovation and COO, 4G Biotech) visited Dr. Moya’s Living Lab in Brantford, Ontario, together with Mr. Steve Pagao. That hands-on visit provided a clear and compelling understanding of how the Magnetic Generator works — its elegance, its efficiency, and its transformative potential. The chemistry between the teams was immediate, the vision was aligned, and as they say, the rest is history.
A Lifeline for Millions: Powering the Last Mile
The impact of this partnership cannot be overstated. Across the Philippines alone — an archipelago of over 7,600 islands — approximately 2.7 million households still lack reliable access to electricity. Researchers have identified at least 649 un-electrified islands with a combined population of 650,000 people. The Philippine government’s ambitious 100% electrification target by 2028 remains a daunting challenge, with many island barangays simply too remote and isolated for grid extension to be economically viable.
For these communities, the Magnetic Generator could be nothing short of revolutionary. Consider a remote island barangay where children study by candlelight, where the nearest health clinic cannot refrigerate vaccines, where fishermen lose half their catch because they lack cold storage, and where small businesses shut down when the sun sets. Now imagine that same community with 24/7, fuel-free, clean electricity. Children can study at night. Health clinics can store medicines and run vital equipment. Fishermen can preserve and sell their catch at fair prices. Women entrepreneurs can operate sewing machines, food processing equipment, and digital devices. Charging stations can connect the community to mobile networks and the wider world.
Studies from electrification projects across the Philippines have shown that when reliable power arrives, household incomes rise by as much as 30%, small enterprise revenues grow, educational outcomes improve dramatically, and overall quality of life transforms within months. The Magnetic Generator does not just bring light — it brings livelihoods, dignity, and hope.
And the vision extends beyond the Philippines. From the rural communities of West Africa, where 4G Biotech has established deep partnerships, to Pacific island nations vulnerable to climate change, to Indigenous communities in remote Canada, and to disaster zones worldwide, the compact, portable, fuel-free Magnetic Generator can be a beacon of hope wherever the grid cannot reach.
The Official Signing
The official signing ceremony took place at Speedtech Energy's offices in Taoyuan, Taiwan, on March 3, 2026. Present at the signing were Dr. Emmanuel “Noel” Moya (President & CEO, Fluidyne International); Mr. Albert Wu (CEO, Green Gold Global Group 4G Biotech); Ms. Emma Huang, Mr. Bruce Shu, and Mr. Amos Shu of Speedtech Energy; and Mr. Roseller Armirola Jr. (AI Innovation Director, 4G Biotech, and PCCC Director. The gathering was marked by a shared sense of purpose and excitement for the transformative road ahead.
“This partnership is more than a business agreement — it is a covenant to serve. When we bring power to a remote island, we are not just turning on lights; we are igniting futures. This is the essence of Filipino bayanihan and Canadian innovation coming together for the world.”
